Christmas Dress Up Day!

On Friday, it was a non-uniform day. Everybody wore their really embarrassing Christmas jumpers! It was a really good day.

Only 14 days till Christmas!!!

Speed Dating In Castleknock

On Thursday, we went Spanish speed dating in Castleknock. I was really nervous but it was actually really good. The school was really posh! When we were finished speed dating, the school gave us crisps, chocolate and sprite. It was a great day :)

Holly Day

On Wednesday, our year went to Dublin to sell holly badges for the ISPCC. My friend Linda and I went to Duke Street. We were there for hours but it was really good. We got free tea from the bar we were selling outside and free noodles from one of the restaurant and they were so nice. People were really generous (except for one guy who just walked up and took one of the badges without paying). When we were finished selling we went to Gino's to get ice-cream!

Glenroyal Charity Ball

On the 27th of November, there was a charity ball on in the Glenroyal hotel in Maynooth. When we arrived there was a chocolate fountain, candyfloss and lots of sweets. It was so awesome! At around ten o'clock, they got rid of the chocolate fountain and it broke my heart :( It was kinda boring after that.

Amber Day

Last Friday, the 4th of December, the TY's organised Amber Day. We did this to try and win the Amber flag which is for positive mental health awareness and suicide prevention. We didn't have any classes for the day so we waited in the library until lunchtime (and listened to lots of Justin Bieber). 

At lunchtime, there was busking in the first year mall, a bakesale in the hall and face painting in the library. I did face painting and I don't even know why cause I was so bad at it. Overall, it was a really good day!

                                               

Halloween Midterm

Since we haven't gone on any trips this month... I don't have anything to blog about so I'm going to write about my Halloween midterm. I went to Time in Naas with my friends. It was really fun but I looked even shorter then usual cause my two really tall friends decided to wear heels.

Christmas Cakes

Today in home ec we made Christmas cakes. We were supposed to make fruit cake but we made chocolate biscuit cake instead because fruit cake is gross. We made penguins for the top of the cake and they're so cute :)
